Is he finally giving up his dream of ruling Kenya and leading the Kenyans to the promised land?
CORD leader Raila Odinga has said Kenya is fast slipping into the dark ages under Jubilee watch. While addressing lawyers in Kwale Friday morning, the opposition leader bemoaned graft levels in the country and the over burdening if the taxpayer.
Here are his words.
It is a pleasure to speak to the members of the legal fraternity at this critical moment in the life of our country. Critical because we are in the middle of a debate on how to reform a most critical institution in the making of our nation; the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission. We are in the middle of a very necessary debate on how to make our elections reflect the wishes of the people; how to make every vote count and how to ensure every vote is counted. In the process, we are also discussing the current and future management of our country. It is my position that only the IEBC stands between the people of Kenya and their desire for an honest and caring government.
